Early American history is the inspiration for Salem Saltbox designs. The patterns for hooked rugs and wool appliqué are adaptations of the 18th through 20th century tavern signs, textiles and folk art. Inspirations from vintage and contemporary designs also influence my collection.
The wonderful colors and textures of today’s wool fabric lend beautifully to my
