Antiques, textiles and needlework have always been an
important part of my life. My mother and grandmother
shared precious time with me in younger years exploring
and learning about the crafts of an earlier time. My fascination
with rug hooking and wool appliqué started many
years ago inspiring me to add heirloom rugs to our home.
Living in a reproduction New England saltbox keeps me in
touch with our early American heritage. My studio is in my
home located in Salem Township, Michigan and so the name
Salem Saltbox. With a very supportive husband and Lady
Biscuit at my side, the adventure begins. With all of my
blessings, my heart smiles. |
